Nanfe Jemimah Bonitas Kefas & Emmanuel Oyeleke’s Splendid #MiManuel2017 Wedding

Nigerian model Jemimah Nanfe Bonitas and photographer Emmanuel Oyeleke’s journey to forever is the perfect plot to a fairytale story. From meeting for the first time at a shoot to the bride becoming the groom’s favourite muse, this couple’s love has grown stronger with the passage of time.

Their steaming pre-wedding pictures showed so much chemistry and love. The couple got married on the 2nd of December 2017 at the Texas Connection Ferries, Osborne foreshore in Lagos. Their traditional wedding was a rich celebration of culture and tradition as all roads led to Jemimah’s hometown in Langtang South, Jos, Plateau on the 22nd of October, 2017.
Here’s the beautiful love story told by the groom. Look out for his description of each ceremony.
How We Met
By The Groom, Emmanuel
Very few times in your life, if you are lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because she is perfect, or because you are, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together perfectly.
It all started on 26th of May 2016 when I met Jemimah on set for a shoot in Lagos, she had travelled in from Abuja on the day of the shoot. She was meant to travel back to Abuja same day, but the shoot dragged on longer than anticipated, so she had to move her flight until the next day. I got her number after the shoot and dropped her off where she could get a cab back to the hotel she was to stay for the night.
We kept in touch thereafter and we became friends. About a month later I asked if she could come to Lagos for a shoot, which she obliged. We grew fond of each other and we started spending a lot of time talking on the phone and as time passed, our love for each other grew.
Fast forward to 2nd September 2017, I popped the question. The proposal was very intimate and she said yes! I consider myself especially lucky because it was not always rosy. We had our differences and challenges, but we have been able to grow past all these. We immediately swung to action and started planning the wedding with the support of The Wedding Company all the way.
Jemimah and I will like to say a very big thank you to all that supported our dream in one way or another, our friends, family and the entire BellaNaija family, your generosity has been overwhelming, we are immensely grateful.
Court Wedding
White WeddingThe white wedding ceremony took place at the Texas Connection Ferries,Osborne foreshore in Lagos in December 2017. It was a very beautiful day with clement weather, the joining started around 5pm and the cocktails and reception started thereafter. It was a beautiful ceremony and also an interesting reception anchored by Tosin Odunfa. We had lovely music from Isaac Geraldsand Waje with so much to eat and drink. Although the day went by so fast, the feedback from friends and family reiterates the fact that everyone had a great time.
